Retail Stockroom Associates for our adidas Outlet stores play an integral role in ensuring we have the proper quantity and quality of footwear, apparel and accessories to meet the customer demand. As an ambassador of the adidas brand you will be authentic, inspire, be honest and committed.
Primary Responsibilities: - Ensure the right product is in the right place, at the right time, is properly priced, packaged and meets adidas visual appearance standards creating a stellar shopping experience for our retail customers
- Participate in all aspects of shipping and receiving, loads and unloads shipments, fills out appropriate logs, follows appropriate policies and procedures, hangs and stocks product, and makes note of any discrepancies
- Ensure product integrity and verifies proper quantity of product upon arrival
- Update, verify and maintain all shipping/receiving and inventory paperwork in an accurate and organized manner to ensure proper inventory levels at all times
- Meet visual merchandizing standards by hanging product correctly, on correct hanger sizes, in size order, priced and sensor tagged; transfer product from stockroom to sales floor in an accurate and timely manner
- Drive stock transfer and product transition process
- Assist in performing annual physical inventory
- Perform store upkeep functions to maintain visual presentation of store
- Coordinate donation and obsolete merchandise process
Qualifications: - A passion for, and knowledge of sports apparel & footwear
- Must be able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment
- Must be able to effectively communicate in verbal and written English
- Previous experience in retail is preferred
- Must be able to perform basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Must have phone, 10-key and basic computer skills
- Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Open availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, store openings and closings to meet the needs of the business
