adidas is hiring for retail cashier opportunities in Myrtle Beach, SC. We are always looking for record-breaking team players who share our passion for the customers we serve, for sport and love for the brand! We are hiring Retail Cashiers for our adidas Outlet stores.
Cashier's for our adidas Outlet stores assist customers at the point of sale. Whether you are assisting a hard-core basketball player or a casual golfer your knowledge of adidas product and how to deliver world class customer service makes shopping at adidas an indelible experience for the customer. As an ambassador of the adidas brand you will be authentic, inspire, be honest and committed.
Primary Responsibilities: - Assist customers at the point of sale ensuring a consistent and world class shopping experience
- Manage customer returns, refunds, and exchanges at the register while maintaining a friendly and easy to work with attitude
- Maintain excellent presentation of all adidas merchandise within and around the check-out area, including display wall cases
- Complete any regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, etc.
- Assist in the development of displays of merchandise throughout the store
- Ensure integrity and accurate cash handling are maintained
- Use selling techniques such as add on sales and describing technical information to customers to enhance salesmanship and reach store sales goals
Qualifications:
- A passion for, and knowledge of sports apparel & footwear
- Driven to deliver superior service by exceeding customer expectations
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and co-workers
- Able to work well as a team player in a fast-paced, energetic environment
- Proven ability to plan, set and achieve goals
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Previous experience in retail is preferred
- Presents a professional image in appearance, words and actions
- Excellent verbal, written English and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be able to perform basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Must have 10-key and basic computer skills
- Open availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, store openings and closings to meet the needs of the business
